A Friendly Request from Cascata Residents
RE: Holiday Decoration Timeline in Cascata
Dear Miami Management Team,
I hope this letter finds you well. Many of us in Cascata were surprised by the recent email regarding holiday decoration enforcement, which stated that decorations should not be displayed until Thanksgiving Day.
For the last five years, our community has enjoyed the flexibility of decorating earlier in November, and we've truly appreciated that grace period. This approach has allowed families to celebrate on their own schedules—whether due to travel plans, early gatherings with family, or simply the joy of decorating when it feels right.
I want to be clear: I'm not asking for any change to the community bylaws. I'm simply hoping that enforcement can be relaxed again this year, just as it has been for the past five years. This balanced approach has worked wonderfully for Cascata without impacting our neighborhood's beautiful appearance or standards.
I understand the importance of maintaining our community's standards, and I genuinely appreciate all the hard work you and your team do to keep Cascata looking its best. The previous approach seemed to strike a perfect balance between maintaining guidelines and respecting the different ways families celebrate the season.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this request. I'm grateful for your partnership in making Cascata such a wonderful place to call home.
Warmest regards,
